Aphrodite PTU
This tutorial was written by me on March 11th, 2012 and is my own creation.
Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.
PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.
This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies:
Tube of choice. I am using the stunning work of PTU artist Elias Chatzoudis. To use his work you must purchase his work and acquire a license number. You may purchase his work at PSP Tubes Emporium.
PTU kit Glammy Girl by Inzpired Creationz. You can purchase this kit at Scraps and the City.
Mask 410 by VixPSP. You can download this mask from her blog.
Font of choice.
Lets get started!
Open frame 2. Resize by 80%.
Image, canvas size set to 600 x 600 px.
Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your frame.
Move the paper below your frame.
Select your magic wand. On your frame layer, select the inside of your frame.
Select all, float, defloat, modify, expand by 10. On your paper layer, selections, invert and press the delete key on your keyboard.
Open your tube. Resize if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer above your frame and towards the bottom of your frame. See my tag for reference.
Duplicate your tube. Adjust, blur, gaussian blur 3.00 and set the blend mode to overlay.
Open element Kitty 1. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the lower left side of your tag.
Open element Candlelabra. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer below your tube layer and to the right side of your tag.
Open element Screen. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the left side of your canvas.
Open element Sparkles 2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer just below the kitty.
Open element Ribbon 3. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer down so it is just above the frame layer and towards the top of your frame. See my tag for reference.
Duplicate the ribbon and flip. Move slightly to the left. See my tag for reference.
Open Paper 9. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom.
Open your mask and apply. Merge group.
With your raster deform tool, pull the top and bottom edges of the masked paper to enlarge it slightly.
Add a slight drop shadow to the layers of your choice to give it depth. I used 0, 0, 50, 10.26.
Add your name, artist info, and license info. Merge visible and save as a .png or .jpg.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
